"To Destroy Is No Loss" is a book that captures our struggle and the struggle of millions of other Cambodians. Each day we were faced with danger and uncertainty, never sure if we would live to see tomorrow. The story is told through they eyes of Thida Mam (my aunt), who was only fifteen-years-old when the war started. JoAn Criddle is one of our sponsors, who adamantly wanted to share our story with the rest of the world. I hope you enjoy our story. Be sure to send me e-mail to let me know what you think (go to "contact me"). I'll be updating frequently, so check back often. (A review of the book will be added on next week, so please check back to see my progress.)

The Cambodian spelling of Thidas name is not Teeda, but for the book purposes the spelling Teeda was used. Throughout this web site I will be using the proper spelling (Thida). |
